The Brief
Metro North Health envisioned an efficient and collaborative office environment for their pediatric team at Redcliffe Hospital. Located above the live emergency department, the space needed to accommodate diverse work needs while ensuring accessibility for all personnel, including senior directors and support staff.
Given the live hospital setting, careful planning and coordination were crucial to minimise disruption to hospital operations. Metro North Health recognised that an effective fitout would rely on meticulous management of both design and delivery to meet their operational and accessibility requirements.
Our contribution
Engaged under a lump-sum contract, our team worked closely with Metro North Health from the outset to manage the design and fitout of this unique office space. We carefully planned the transformation of the existing offices into a semi-open-plan environment, ensuring that specialty offices, meeting rooms, and accessibility features were seamlessly integrated into the design.
