Work experience opportunities - Tailored experience (Holiday Based)

If you’re considering a career in construction and have some spare time in your holidays, why not spend it gaining practical experience with us? Customised to your circumstances, we’ll help you explore the different aspects of what we do, depending on your interests and skill set. Take an opportunity to observe and learn from our skilled team and gain insight into the construction industry.

School-based traineeships

With our school-based apprenticeships, you can enjoy the best of both worlds. Kick-start your future career while also finishing your secondary studies. We’ll partner with your school to create a learning schedule that balances your commitments and works for you. The basic skills you’ll learn with us will be industry-specific and contribute towards a recognised qualification. With these traineeships, you can build up your experience while getting paid for your efforts.

Internships

Get a glimpse into the day-to-day details of construction with our short-term internship opportunities. We’ll work flexibly with your needs and time requirements to give you practical involvement in the field of your choice. Take this as a chance to try out your chosen career, build confidence and connect with professionals to build your network. Completing an internship with us can open pathways to other employment opportunities and will give you practical skills to strengthen your resume.

Cadetships | University Pathway

Our university-stream cadetships mix your academic university education with applied practical learning. These are perfect for students looking to develop their on-the-ground skills and gain valuable knowledge about the industry. Get paid while you study, doing work that fits with your future plans. You’ll have the chance to see the reality of what your chosen career will look like and advance your professional capabilities.

Cadetships | TRADE / TAFE

Participate in real projects, doing real work. Our trade cadetships run in line with registered training organisations (RTO) and are designed for those looking to complete a trade, who enjoy hands-on work. You’ll be part of our team, working on everything from educational to health to commercial projects. Supervised by experienced tradespeople, there’ll be opportunities to learn from their extensive knowledge while engaging with unique approaches and situations.
