The Brief
Whites Hill State College envisioned transforming the underutilised C Block into a vibrant and adaptable flexispace that would promote collaborative learning experiences. They sought to incorporate two flexible learning areas, two meeting rooms, an individual study desk, a communal lounge, and a kitchenette into the design. Functionality and versatility were essential to meet the needs of diverse learning activities.
Our contribution
Under a design and construct contract, we undertook the complete strip-out of C Block to create an open and dynamic learning environment. New operable walls were installed to divide the flexible learning areas, while timber batten screens separated meeting rooms without compromising the open feel of the space. Patterned carpet tiles and vibrant furnishings brought energy and character to the design. Delivered two weeks ahead of schedule, the project highlighted our ability to deliver high-quality outcomes with minimal disruption.
The remarkable project outcome
The revitalised C Block is now a modern, spacious, and versatile learning hub. Operable walls and timber screens allow effortless transformation of the space, while the colourful design elements add vibrancy and energy. Whites Hill State College now has a collaborative learning environment that exceeds expectations, ready to inspire students for years to come.
